Aerial leaf of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) processed into a concentrated botanical extract. This grade is produced by aqueous/hydroethanolic extraction of the leaf and is defined by a 4:1 native drug-to-extract ratio rather than a fixed marker percentage, which sets it apart from the family's marker-standardized grades (the 1% silica leaf extract and the beta-sitosterol root extract) and from the more concentrated 10:1 root ratio extract. Unlike the whole-leaf and whole-root powders, it is a solvent concentrate rather than milled raw plant. It is supplied as a free-flowing dry extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, powder and liquid formats.
