Zinc Orotate

Zinc orotate is the zinc salt of orotic acid (CAS 60388-02-5). It is an organic-acid salt marketed as a premium chelated zinc source, distinct from the inorganic oxide and sulfate forms. At roughly 17.4% elemental zinc it sits toward the lower end of the family's elemental load, above only the gluconate among the forms we manufacture. It is produced synthetically, labeled by elemental zinc content and supplied as a white to off-white powder, which we manufacture in tablet and capsule formats.
