Boric Acid

Boric acid (orthoboric acid)

Boric acid, also called orthoboric acid, is the simplest inorganic boron compound (CAS 10043-35-3, formula H3BO3, molecular weight 61.83). It is a mineral-derived inorganic acid supplied at high-purity USP/reagent grade. At approximately 17.5% elemental boron it carries the highest boron load of any form in this family, far above the organic citrate, sugar-borate and amino-acid chelates near 2.8-5% and above mined borax at roughly 11%. Being a small inorganic molecule rather than a chelate or organic-acid complex, it delivers the most boron per gram, and we manufacture it as a powder for capsule and powder formats.
