Tri-Creatine Malate

tris(2-[carbamimidoyl(methyl)amino]acetic acid); 2-hydroxybutanedioic acid

Tri-creatine malate is a salt of three creatine molecules with one molecule of malic acid, a 3:1 creatine-to-malic-acid ratio (CAS 616864-40-5, C16H33N9O11, MW 527.5). Unlike the 1:1 salts such as the nitrate and pyruvate, it pairs a single malate anion with three creatine units, and unlike the monohydrate it is an organic-acid salt rather than a crystalline hydrate. It is manufactured synthetically and supplied as a crystalline powder. It is manufactured in powder and capsule formats.
