Beta-Carotene (Synthetic) is chemically synthesized all-trans-beta-carotene, the (all-E)-beta,beta-carotene isomer of the C40 carotenoid (CAS 7235-40-7, EC 230-636-6; C40H56, MW 536.87). It is built by total chemical synthesis rather than isolated from biomass, which yields a predominantly all-trans isomer profile and distinguishes it from the mixed 9-cis and all-trans blend of the Dunaliella salina grade. The material is an orange-red pigment supplied either as a vegetable-oil suspension or as a water-dispersible beadlet, standardized to a stated carotene content (commonly 1-30%). Among the family it is the grade we offer in the widest range of dosage formats: softgel, capsule, tablet, powder, gummy and liquid.
