Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea), purple coneflower, aerial parts, extracted and adjusted to a defined constituent level. This grade is standardized to 4% total polyphenols by UV, with chicoric acid typically not less than 0.4% by HPLC, making it a marker-standardized extract rather than a ratio concentrate like the 4:1 and 10:1 grades. It is quantified on the broad total-polyphenol pool, which distinguishes it from the sister grade standardized specifically to cichoric acid and from the alkylamide-standardized grade, both of which target narrower single-marker fractions. It is supplied as a fine brown extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, powder, liquid and gummy formats.
