Creatine Hydrochloride ist das Hydrochloridsalz von Creatine (CAS 17050-09-8, C4H10ClN3O2, MW 167.59), gebildet durch Paarung der Creatine-Base mit Salzsäure. Als Salz zeichnet es sich durch eine hohe Wasserlöslichkeit aus, im Gegensatz zur Anhydrat-Base und zum Monohydrat, wobei das hinzugefügte Hydrochlorid den Creatine-Gehalt auf etwa 78% bezogen auf die Masse senkt. Es wird synthetisch hergestellt und als kristallines Pulver geliefert. Es wird in den Formaten Kapsel und Pulver hergestellt.
