BCAA 2:1:1 is a multi-constituent blend of the three branched-chain amino acids, L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine, combined in a 2:1:1 leucine:isoleucine:valine weight ratio. It is produced by dry-blending the individual fermentation-derived free-form amino acids and, as a mixture rather than a single compound, carries no single CAS number, molecular formula or molecular weight. Relative to the single amino acids it delivers all three constituents in one powder, and it differs from the 4:1:1 and 8:1:1 grades only in the proportion of leucine, the 2:1:1 ratio being the most even split of the three fixed-ratio grades. We manufacture it in powder, capsule, tablet and liquid formats, one dosage format wider than the single amino acids.
