Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) root and rhizome concentrated into a native 10:1 extract, the highest-ratio concentrate in the family. This grade is defined by a 10:1 drug-to-extract ratio, ten parts raw root and rhizome to one part extract, and is typically carrier-adjusted; it is not standardized to a triterpene glycoside marker. It is a higher concentration than the 4:1 ratio grade and, unlike the HPLC-standardized 2.5% and 5% triterpene glycoside extracts, carries no fixed marker percentage. It remains a whole native extract rather than a purified single compound and is supplied as a dry powder. We manufacture it in capsules and tablets.
