5-Loxin is a branded extract of the Boswellia serrata (Indian frankincense) gum resin. Rather than reporting total boswellic acids like the 65% and 85% grades, it is enriched and standardized to at least 30% AKBA (3-O-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid), a single boswellic-acid fraction. This selective enrichment on one triterpenic acid separates it technically from the total-acid extracts, while its 30% AKBA target sits alongside Boswellin Super and above the 20% AKBA ApresFlex/Aflapin composite. It is supplied as a dry powder and manufactured into capsules, tablets, and bulk powder.
