Derived from the stem and leaf (aerial part) of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer rather than the root used by most ginseng grades. The material is a concentrated extract assayed to 80 percent total ginsenosides by UV spectrophotometry, the highest total-ginsenoside marker level in this family and a reflection of the aerial part's higher ginsenoside density. It is a whole multi-ginsenoside extract quantified on a total-marker basis, distinct from the root-sourced 4 percent G115 grade, the ratio-defined 10:1 root extract, and the single-compound Rg3 isolate. Physical form is a fine dry-extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, and powder formats.
