20(S)-Ginsenoside Rg3 is a single protopanaxadiol-type ginsenoside (CAS 14197-60-5, C42H72O13, MW 785.01) isolated and purified from Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer to at least 98 percent by HPLC. It is enriched by the same steaming step that produces red ginseng and then purified to a defined single-compound grade, which distinguishes it from the family's whole multi-ginsenoside extracts and root powder that carry many ginsenosides together. Where the 80 percent aerial and Korean red grades are total-ginsenoside mixtures, this material is one characterized molecule rather than a total-marker extract. Physical form is a fine crystalline-to-amorphous powder. We manufacture it in capsule and powder formats.
