Calcium Citrate Malate

Calcium citrate malate (CCM)

Calcium citrate malate (CCM, CAS 142606-53-9) is a water-soluble mixed calcium salt of both citric and malic acids rather than a single defined salt. Its citrate-to-malate-to-calcium ratio is variable, so the material is produced synthetically by co-reacting calcium with the two organic acids and standardized to a stated elemental calcium content of roughly 24%. This mixed-salt construction separates it from the single-acid citrate, lactate and gluconate salts and from the insoluble carbonate and phosphate forms. It is supplied as a white to off-white powder. We manufacture it in tablets, capsules and powders.
