Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre, commonly gurmar), leaf. This grade is the whole dried leaf simply cleaned and milled, typically to around 80 mesh, with no solvent extraction and no adjustment to a marker level, so it retains the full native leaf matrix at roughly 1:1 potency. Unlike the family's gymnemic-acid-standardized extracts (25%, 50% and 75%) and the ratio-based 4:1 native extract, it is not concentrated and carries only the leaf's naturally occurring gymnemic acid content. It is supplied as a fine milled leaf powder and is the raw feedstock from which the concentrated extracts are produced. We manufacture it in capsules, tablets, and bulk or finished powder.
