Korean Red Ginseng Extract is produced from Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer root that is steamed and dried ('red' processing) before extraction, a thermal step that shifts the ginsenoside profile relative to unprocessed white-root grades. It is standardized to total ginsenosides, typically 5 to 15 percent by UV, and characterized on an Rg1 plus Rb1 plus Rg3 marker profile, with the steaming generating the Rg3 that is not prominent in the raw root. This distinguishes it from the white-root 10:1 and G115 extracts and the non-extracted root powder, while it remains a whole multi-ginsenoside extract rather than an isolated Rg3 compound. Physical form is a dry-extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, powder, and liquid formats.
