This grade is extracted from the aerial parts of Tribulus terrestris (puncture vine) and standardized by HPLC to 20 to 40% protodioscin, a specific furostanol saponin marker. Rather than reporting the total saponin class by UV-Vis as our 40% and 90% fruit grades do, it is quantified to that one defined furostanol saponin by HPLC, giving a marker-specific whole extract. It is also distinguished from the fruit grades by its plant part, using aerial parts instead of fruit, while remaining a whole extract rather than an isolated single compound. It is supplied as a dry powder. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets, and bulk powder.
