Glycine propionyl-L-carnitine hydrochloride, marketed as GlycoCarn (CAS 423152-20-9), is a molecular complex of propionyl-L-carnitine and the amino acid glycine, formula C12H25ClN2O6 and molecular weight 328.79. It is produced synthetically and standardized to approximately 66% propionyl-L-carnitine, 23% glycine and 11% hydrochloride. Unlike the plain propionyl-L-carnitine hydrochloride grade, it co-formulates the propionyl ester with glycine as a single defined complex rather than a bare salt. The material is a crystalline powder that we manufacture into capsules, powders and tablets.
