Siliphos is Indena's branded silybin phytosome, pairing the silybin flavonolignan of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) seed with phosphatidylcholine to form a lipid-complexed delivery matrix, standardized by HPLC to a silybin content of 29.7% to 36.3%. Where the family's plain seed extracts are marker-standardized powders and the isolate is a purified single compound, this form is a phospholipid complex in which silybin is bound to phosphatidylcholine rather than supplied free. The phosphatidylcholine is derived from soy, so the material carries a soy allergen declaration. It is presented as an off-white to pale extract powder. We manufacture it in capsule, softgel, tablet and powder formats.
