Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.), supplied as the dried, milled root and rhizome. This grade is the whole, non-concentrated botanical at a 1:1 dried-herb basis, carrying the root's native constituents without solvent extraction or marker adjustment. Unlike the family's 4:1 and 10:1 concentrates it is not reduced to a ratio-defined extract, and unlike the 0.8% valerenic-acids grade it carries no HPLC marker guarantee. It is a free-flowing tan to brown botanical powder. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets, and bulk powder blends.
