Manganese Ascorbate

Manganese ascorbate is the manganese(II) salt of L-ascorbic acid (C12H14MnO12, CAS 16351-10-3), a synthetically produced organic salt that pairs the manganese cation with ascorbate. It carries roughly 13.5% elemental manganese, one of the lower loads in the family, since the two ascorbate units dominate the molecular weight. Distinct from the amino-acid chelate (bisglycinate) and the inorganic salts, it is an organic-acid salt combining manganese with ascorbate in a single compound. The material is a powder with manganese in the reduced +2 oxidation state. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder formats.
