Cassia cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) bark extract, produced by extracting the dried bark and concentrating it to a 10:1 native ratio, meaning roughly ten parts of raw bark yield one part of finished extract. It is defined by this drug-to-extract ratio rather than by a guaranteed marker percentage, which distinguishes it from the 8% polyphenol grade (assay-standardized by UV) and from the branded aqueous Type-A polymer extracts. Against the plain milled bark powder it is a concentrated whole extract rather than the unconcentrated raw botanical. Supplied as a brown dry extract powder. We manufacture it into capsules, tablets, and powders.
