Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) dried root, cleaned and milled to a powder. Unlike the extract grades in this family, it is not solvent-concentrated or marker-standardized; it is a 1:1 native whole-root material typically screened to an 80-100 mesh particle size and assayed but not enriched for withanolides. This makes it the base botanical feedstock from which the standardized extracts are produced, distinct from the withanolide- and glycoside-standardized concentrates and from the isolated single-compound grade. It is a milled root powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet, and powder formats.
