Molybdenum Glycinate Chelate

Molybdenum glycinate (amino acid chelate)

Molybdenum glycinate chelate is an organic amino-acid chelate in which molybdenum is complexed with the amino acid glycine (Albion/Balchem type), also traded as molybdenum bisglycinate; no single CAS number or defined molecular formula is assigned to it. The glycine ligand is produced synthetically, so the material carries no animal-derived component and is suitable for vegan formulations. In contrast to the inorganic molybdate salts of the family, it is a low-loading complex standardised to roughly 2.5% elemental molybdenum, far below the sodium and ammonium molybdate grades, with the metal held in a chelated organic structure rather than a simple salt. It is supplied as a powder that we manufacture into capsules, tablets and powder blends.
