Dried and milled whole leaf of ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), the maidenhair tree. This is the base botanical material with no marker guarantee, which distinguishes it from the standardized 24/6, 27/7 and EGb 761 extracts that are solvent concentrates adjusted to defined flavone glycoside and terpene lactone levels. It is neither a concentrated ratio extract like the 50:1 grade nor an isolated single compound such as ginkgolide B or bilobalide; it is the unextracted leaf itself. The physical form is a green leaf powder. We manufacture it in capsule, tablet and powder dosage formats.
