Zinc Aspartate

Zinc bis(L-aspartate)

Zinc aspartate, chemically zinc bis(L-aspartate), is a zinc complex with the amino acid L-aspartic acid (CAS 36393-20-1). It is an amino-acid salt and chelate rather than an inorganic form such as zinc oxide or zinc sulfate. At roughly 19.8% elemental zinc it sits in the lower-mid range of the family, alongside the orotate and below the picolinate and monomethionine chelates. It is produced synthetically, used mainly in European supplements, labeled by elemental zinc content and supplied as a white powder, which we manufacture in tablet, capsule and powder formats.
