Cocarboxylase

Thiamine pyrophosphate chloride (thiamine diphosphate chloride)

Cocarboxylase (CAS 154-87-0) is thiamine pyrophosphate chloride, also called thiamine diphosphate chloride, the diphosphate (pyrophosphate) ester of vitamin B1 and its coenzyme form, with the molecular formula C12H19ClN4O7P2S and a molecular weight of 460.77. It is produced by chemical synthesis and supplied as the chloride salt at active coenzyme grade. Unlike the simple thiamine salts, it is a phosphorylated ester bearing a pyrophosphate group, and unlike the lipid-soluble benfotiamine, fursultiamine and sulbutiamine derivatives it is a water-soluble compound. It is supplied in powder form, and we manufacture it in powder, capsule, tablet and liquid formats.
