Instantized BCAA 2:1:1 (soy lecithin) is a 2:1:1 leucine:isoleucine:valine blend of the three fermentation-derived branched-chain amino acids that has been surface-treated with soy lecithin as a dispersant so the powder wets and disperses in water. Like the other blends it is a multi-constituent mixture with no single CAS number, molecular formula or molecular weight. It differs from the standard 2:1:1 grade physically, through the lecithin surface coating that changes the powder's wetting behaviour, and it carries soy as a declared allergen where the plain BCAA grades are allergen-free. Because the instantizing process is a powder surface treatment, it is supplied only as a powder rather than in the capsule, tablet or liquid formats offered for the untreated blend.
