It is built from natural aromatic fractions selected for taste-rounding and sweetness-modulating behaviour and is standardized to a supplier use-level. Unlike the masking flavour, which targets bitterness and off-notes, this system is directed at taste rounding and sweetness perception, and unlike the true sweeteners in the wider category it contributes no independent sweetening bulk of its own. It is supplied as a liquid or a spray-dried powder and is manufactured into powder, tablet, gummy and liquid dosage formats.
