d-gamma-tocotrienol (CAS 14101-61-2) est l'homologue gamma de la série insaturée des tocotrienols et le tocotrienol le plus abondant dans l'huile de palme et de son de riz. Comme les autres tocotrienols, il porte une chaîne latérale à triple insaturation et, avec un groupe méthyle de cycle de moins que l'alpha-tocotrienol, il présente une masse moléculaire de 410.6 g/mol (C28H42O2). Il est isolé en tant que composant du complexe de tocotrienols et dosé par HPLC, et en tant qu'huile à phénol libre, il diffère des qualités estérifiées d'acétate et de succinate de tocopheryl.
