Tapioca Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin (partially hydrolysed tapioca/cassava starch; alpha-1,4/1,6-linked D-glucose polymer)

Tapioca Maltodextrin is a partially hydrolysed cassava (tapioca) starch composed of alpha-1,4- and alpha-1,6-linked D-glucose units (CAS 9050-36-6, EC 232-940-4, empirical formula (C6H10O5)n). It is produced by controlled hydrolysis of cassava starch and is supplied non-GMO, typically in low-DE grades within the DE 10-19 range. It shares the same glucose-polymer chemistry as our corn and rice maltodextrins but is distinguished by its cassava botanical origin and non-GMO sourcing, and it is frequently selected as a fat and flavour carrier rather than solely a bulk filler. It is presented as a fine, free-flowing powder. We manufacture it into powders, capsules and tablets.
