It is built from natural aromatic fractions selected for their off-note masking behaviour and is standardized to a supplier masking use-level. It differs from the character flavours in this family, such as the water-soluble and oil-soluble liquids, in that it is a functional flavour aimed at off-note masking rather than delivering a specific taste profile, and unlike the format-specific liquids it is offered in both liquid and spray-dried powder physical forms. It is supplied as a liquid or a spray-dried powder and is manufactured into powder, tablet, capsule, liquid and gummy dosage formats.
