Whole-leaf stevia (green stevia powder)

Whole-leaf stevia (green stevia powder) is the dried and milled whole leaf of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, or a crude green extract, with total steviol glycosides typically in the 4-10% range on a leaf basis. It is the least processed member of the range: the leaf is dried and ground rather than extracted and purified, so the glycosides remain in their natural leaf matrix alongside plant fibre and colour, giving a green powder rather than the white crystalline solids of the purified grades. Its glycoside content is far lower than the >=90-95% single-compound isolates and the >=95% total-glycoside extract. Supplied as a green whole-leaf powder, it is manufactured into powders, capsules, tablets and liquids.
