Steviol glycosides 95% (E960a) is a purified extract of Stevia rebaudiana leaf standardised to >=95% total steviol glycosides on a dry basis. Rather than a single isolated molecule it is a defined mixture of Reb A, stevioside and minor glycosides, so it carries no single CAS number, molecular formula or molecular weight. It is produced by aqueous extraction of the dried leaf and purification of the combined glycoside fraction, which distinguishes it from the single-compound Reb A, Reb D, Reb M and stevioside grades that are isolated to one molecule. Supplied as a white to off-white crystalline high-intensity sweetener powder, it is manufactured into powders, tablets, capsules, liquids and gummies.
