Rebaudioside D (Reb D; CAS 63279-13-0, C50H80O28, MW 1129.2) is a minor steviol glycoside of Stevia rebaudiana standardised to >=90-95% on a dry basis. It is isolated from the leaf glycoside fraction by extraction and chromatographic purification and is frequently paired with Reb M in blended sweetener systems. In molecular terms it sits between Reb A (967.0) and Reb M (1291.3), being more glucosylated and higher in molecular weight than Reb A but lighter than Reb M. It is supplied as a white to off-white crystalline high-intensity sweetener powder and is manufactured into powders, tablets, capsules and liquids.
